Located alongside the beautiful, serene marina in Discovery Bay, Discovery Mind Kindergarten is a privately funded, fully licensed pre-school catering for children between the age of 3 to 6.

The quality of pre-schooling is crucial to the socio-physical development of a child. Since our establishment in 1996, we have been steadfast in our commitment to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn. We place great emphasis in our philosophy on Acceptance, Praise and Encouragement. Through a mixture of learn and play exercises, children are trained to develop a sense of responsibility and confidence.

Here at Discovery Mind, your child will learn through group activities and one to one interactions. While focusing on the established multi-cognitive training, we also realized the importance of an all round sociological development to the children at an early age. We take great care in balancing a child's notion of togetherness and his/her sense of self awareness. Our program is designed to encourage group participation as well as to explore the special talent that is in each individual child.

 Once every semester, we organize a parent-teacher interview week, and there are also a range of activities to enhance parent-child communication and relationship within the school environment, including picnics, birthday parties, Christmas Carnival, Mothers Day Celebration, Fathers Day Celebration, etc.

To optimize the personal development of each child, our school combines a well-resourced environment and a stimulating curriculum. We have at our disposal a multi-purpose playroom, a library and a music room, where children can take part in school activities in a spacious, safe and hygienic setting. We also have a number of nodes to suit the childÍs special interest. These nodes include an artist corner, a nature corner, a family corner, and an audio/reading corner. These nodes of interest provide the children access to a wide assortment of facilities to enrich their learning experience and cultivate their individualities.

The school has three sections - the Playgroup, the International Kindergarten and the Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten. We offer both Morning and Afternoon classes.
